promoting the
wonderful artists
that have gravitated
to Western North
Carolina and created
one-of-a-kind
handmade journals,
jewelry, pottery,
ironwork, and other
artwork.
We also carry
interesting
furniture pieces,
unusual and
re-purposed
accessories, boxed
cards, candles, and
framed prints.
Potted plants in
unique pots and
grapevine wreaths
make perfect gifts.
We make our own
wreaths and will
make them to any
size and for any
occasion and we are
happy to update your
wreath to keep it
fresh for every
season.

New Leaf Design
promotes artists
from the Western
Carolina mountains,
many of whom have
been drawn to this
area for its rich
natural beauty and
the collaborative
arts environment so
appealing to artists
of all media.
Within New Leaf Design, there are
beautifully carved one-of-a-kind
decoys by
Chris Boone, large scale
paintings of fresh fruit and
vegetables by
Karen Elder, powerful spiritual
pottery by Anita Blackwell, and
funky, fresh pottery by one of the
Energy Xchange artists,
Lisa Gluckin.
These are just a few of the local
artists represented here. There are
also iron works, carved benches.
Boxes crafted from wormy chestnut,
barnwood frames, and furniture made
from reclaimed timber are also
available for purchase or can be
commissioned for your home.
